Welcome to the Ilda Clippers Dive Team!

We strive to provide a fun, healthy, competitive and family friendly atmosphere for our team. From beginner to expert your diver will be given the opportunity to learn and improve their skills. We encourage all participants to do their best and have fun!

The Ilda dive team finished the 2011 season with a record of 1-3-1.

At dive divisionals, Ariel Sarratt and Ross Rubin qualified for All Stars. Mary Parker, Nicholas Summers and Sam Cluff were alternates for All Stars.

Ilda Dive Team Practice Times (2011)


From May 31 until school is out (Mon-Fri), practice times are:
   4:00 to 5:30 PM -- all ages, come when you can (working around swim practice)

Once Fairfax County Schools are out for summer break, which is June 22nd this year, practices are in the morning. Monday to Friday, practice times are:
   9:00 to 10:00 AM -- 11 and over
   10:00 to 11:00 AM -- 10 and under

Dive Team Coaches


Our Head Dive Coach is Nick Guttendorf and Assistant Dive Coach is Samantha Eldridge, both of whom hail from Woodson High School. Nick was a 2010 Woodson graduate, where he was a 4-year Varsity letterman in diving, was named Captain and MVP his senior year, and qualified for All-American. He was also a member of the Truro Dive Team, where he was instrumental in the team's last 6 first place titles in NVSL Division 1. ln addition, he helped coach the last 3 years. Nick has finished his freshman year at GMU, where he had a successful season on their Division 1 dive team. Samantha is completing her Junior year at Woodson, and has lettered all 3 years on the Woodson Varsity Dive Team. She will be Captain in the upcoming season.
